GIRFT webinar: Practical steps for reducing corridor care
GIRFT webinar: Practical steps for reducing corridor care
Dr Leilah Dare, GIRFT emergency medicine clinical advisor, and Dr Peter Williams, senior site lead for GIRFT UEC Further Faster, are hosting this webinar to show how the newly published GIRFT corridor care improvement guide offers practical steps to support services to reduce corridor care
Corridor care has become one of the most significant patient safety challenges within the NHS. The new GIRFT guidance supports clinical and operational leads by summarising the practical steps required to minimise and ultimately eliminate corridor care.
This webinar will outline the principles of the guidance and demonstrate the importance of adopting the GIRFT’s Clinical Operational Standards for emergency care pathways to provide a consistent, trust‑wide framework for timely clinical decision‑making, improved patient flow across the urgent and emergency care pathway, and a reduced reliance on corridor care.in acute NHS trusts.
We will also hear good practice case studies from trusts sharing their experiences, approaches taken to reduce time spent in ED, and how they have successfully implemented the clinical operational standards to deliver sustained improvement in UEC performance.
The joining link will be sent to all registrants by separate email nearer the event date.
