Safe insulin use in neonatal units

Following the publication ofGIRFT's guidance for the safe use of insulin in neonatology services, this webinar - hosted by Eleri Adams, GIRFT's clinical lead for neonatology - will discuss the recommendations in the report for safe access, control and storage of insulin in neonatal units and how they can be implemented, as well as recommendations for professional practice. 

There will also be an opportunity to learn more, and see a demonstration of, new neonatal insulin e-learning to support safe prescribing, preparation and/or administration of insulin in neonatal units.  

This webinar is suitable for trusts safety and governance teams, senior clinical and managerial leaders, neonatal pharmacy teams and all relevant neonatal staff, to help ensure that neonatal unit policies and practice align with the recommendations.
