Introduction

This is a partnership event, working together with Greater Manchester’s independent care sector providers and stakeholders to develop a shared vision for health and social care across Greater Manchester and identify priorities for the year ahead.

Through interactive sessions we will use this event to work together to develop ideas for innovation, sustainability and quality between providers and partners across Greater Manchester.  Topics will include:

1. Markets and sustainability
2. Workforce development
3. Innovation, personalisation and developing a shared vision for the future

The experience and skills of providers are key to this approach.

The morning event will also review the commitments made at last year’s conference and identify priorities for 2018/19 and beyond.  It will take forward the development of a new `Memorandum of Understanding’ (MoU) between the Greater Manchester Independent Care Sector Network and the GMHSCP.

Target Audience

The primary audience will be the independent providers of care and support for adults and older people in Greater Manchester but colleagues from commissioning and other stakeholders with an interest in the quality of health and social care in Greater Manchester are welcome.
