Are you involved in the recruitment and retention of healthcare support workers, including those with no prior health and care experience or the delivery of the NHS England Healthcare Support Worker Programme (HCSW) at your trust?

NHS England’s Nursing Directorate is hosting a webinar, as part of the Healthcare Support Worker Programme on how Trusts have successfully reduced time to hire through innovative approaches and centralised recruitment practices. We would love you to join us on the Tuesday 27th September 2022 between 12pm and 1pm to hear more.

Questions can be asked throughout the event using the live Q&A function and a summary document will be shared after the event which will outline the resources available and where to find them.

This event will be chaired by Sakina Jaffrey, HCSW Advisor, NHS England. Sakina will be joined by Beverley Sawer, Lead Senior Intern / Recruitment Nurse, Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, Stefanie Johnson, Head of Recruitment and Volunteers, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Nina Kamalarajan, Workforce and Operations Lead (Retention Team), NHS England.

This event is aimed at anyone within your organisation involved in the education of HCSWs alongside those responsible for the recruitment, management, development, and retention of HCSWs. This includes, but is not limited to, nursing workforce leads, ward managers, matrons, education teams, providers of pastoral support, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion leads, and anyone involved in supporting HCSW onboarding and induction including delivery of the care certificate.

If you would like to attend this event, we ask that you please register above by 5pm on Monday 26th September 2022. Once registration has closed, we will then send an outlook invitation to the event to all registered attendees.
