Purpose
To showcase HPFT’s Simulation Training Facility and demonstrate how simulation-based education supports safe, high-quality, evidence-based care across mental health, physical health, and learning disabilities.

Background
HPFT has developed a pioneering Simulation Training Facility aligned with the Health Education England National Framework for Simulation-Based Education. The Hub delivers multi-professional, multidisciplinary simulation training informed by learning from incidents, team competencies, and gaps in care delivery.

Event Objectives

  1. Highlight the impact of simulation-based education on staff confidence, skills, and teamworking
  2. Demonstrate HPFT’s multi-professional simulation faculty and training approach
  3. Give Participants an overview of the Simulation Training Hub with a demonstration of simulation-based learning
