Hyperlocal engagement webinar: improving vaccination uptake in London boroughs
Join the Equalities Team’s hyperlocal project webinar on 15 May 2025, from 09:20am-12:40pm
The webinar will feature four hyperlocal projects undertaken in the London Boroughs of Ealing (Southall project), Newham, and Croydon focusing on Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, African and Caribbean communities.
All were designed to increase vaccination uptake within underserved communities. The webinar will provide valuable insights into successful strategies and initiatives.
The objectives of the webinar include:
- Sharing good practice in local community engagement and how to improve vaccination uptake within underserved communities
- Learning about effective engagement strategies
The sessions will be interactive with time for discussion and Q&As. The webinar will be chaired by Khadidja Bichbiche, Deputy Director of Equalities, NHS England.
