Following publication of the Workforce Race Equality Standard 2018 Data Report for NHS Trusts, this event is an Allied Health Professional Specific workshop led by NHS England and NHS Improvement. The aims of the workshop include improving the experience of all our staff, understanding AHP diversity, benefits and future ways we can support demand.
The strategic workshop will be held on two dates in both north and south of England, please select the correct session from the options above
Directors or leads of Allied Health Professions are recommended to attend. The workshop events will:
- Provide an overview of the reports cited above, and where the AHP NHS is on workforce race equality
- Showcase replicable good practice examples to help induce continuous improvement on this agenda, including support to trusts in achieving the objectives set out in the reports cited above
- Support the drafting of action plans to implement recommendations from these reports
Participating in the workshop should challenge thinking and lead to the development of an environment of continuous improvement, inform recruitment strategies and benefits to staffing groups in the future.
