Interactive Dementia Workshop

The East of England Clinical Network will be hosting an Interactive Workshop for organisations involved in Dementia. We are very pleased to announce we will have as our Key Note speaker Alistair Burns, National Clinical Director for Dementia NHS England who will be talking about the Dementia Evidence– Based Treatment Pathway and how this is likely to impact on the care of Dementia. We will also have a number of other speakers who will be sharing their experience.
The topics will include:
- The NEW Evidence -Based Treatment Pathway
- Memory Assessment Services Update
- Primary Care Role in Dementia Services (E.G. using Case Finding tools, like DiADeM, DeAR GP)
- Role of the 3rd Sector in providing post diagnosis community support
- Acute Hospitals’ Dementia Services
- Dementia Re-ablement and Intermediate Care Services
