Using the Universal Care Plan for citizens with Sickle Cell in London’s ED and by-pass departments

This webinar supports implementation of the Universal Care Plan (UCP) in emergency and by-pass departments, so that citizens with sickle cell get the right treatment at the right time in accordance with their haematology directives.

It is aimed at all NHS staff working in London’s emergency and by-pass departments and will introduce attendees to the UCP and include a demonstration. There will also be a short presentation around the ACT NOW acronym that has been developed collaboratively with clinical experts and patients to ensure a rapid clinical response to patients in a sickle cell crisis.
