London Improvement Learning Network

25 September 2024 9:30am – 10:30amBST (+01:00)
Virtual (Microsoft Teams)

Following on from the London Improvement Day which took place in London in April, we have now formed a London Improvement Learning Network.

  • This Network aims to:
    • Enable all colleagues who are involved in Improvement to come together and share ideas and initiatives to create an improvement culture within our organisations
    • Ensure we can continue to embed a Continuous Improvement approach across London, building on the CI momentum we have generated over recent months.
    • Realise the benefits of further cross-organisational collaboration between Provider, ICB and Regional colleagues in working through difficult challenges.
  • We will do this through a series of virtual sessions which will be fast paced, interactive and engaging, designed to support you on your continued CI journey.
  • In our first online event in July we discussed your biggest challenges in adopting Continuous Improvement into your everyday work.
  • We will now be holding follow-up sessions to work through each of these in more detail. Our next event on 25th September will focus on CI prioritisation and executive buy-in, which were two of the top challenges identified in our July session.
  • The goal of this session is for each attendee to identify and commit to practical steps to help overcome known issues relating to CI prioritisation and executive buy-in. We will then reconvene approximately 6 weeks later to discuss and reflect on these actions after a suitable period of implementation.
