Introduction

We are pleased to host our 2nd Maternity Safety event to celebrate how together, we have improved safety across our maternity services in Greater Manchester and Eastern Cheshire (GMEC) over the last 18 months.

Our programme includes presentations from each of our providers to share their successes developed as part of the wider GMEC local maternity system and we are proud that our providers are working together to create a safer place to have a baby with enhanced and exceptional patient care.

This meeting is also our opportunity to celebrate the collaborative and partnership working amongst all medical, midwifery and nursing professionals in the region, to network and share learning.

Target Audience

Obstetricians (trainees and Consultants), midwives, student midwives, neonatal staff, safety leads, and all maternity service support professionals involved in the care of women and their families.
