Me and my medicines
Ticket sales finished: 6 October 2017 10:00am
The day is for patients, carers, health and care professions and people with an interest in improving health and wellbeing. The event will include presentations, workshop sessions and discussions to enable people to share ideas and experiences about using and improving the use of medicines.
The campaign is driven by the needs of patients, their family and carers who reveal that all too often they leave a consultation with unresolved medicines related issues and questions. The widespread adoption of a simple charter aims to support and encourage good conversations between health professionals and patients and through this approach work together to resolve issues about the use of medicines.
The aim is to achieve a reliable and consistent approach to discussing, building confidence and understanding medicines which will lead to improved health and wellbeing. The campaign is patient led and has been supported by many local NHS organisations.
Packages of materials will be available to organisations to maximise the impact and benefits, examples of these materials will be introduced on the day.
