Mental Health Learning and Improvement Network East of England
The East of England Mental Health Learning & Improvement Network brings together clinical, operational and improvement teams from across the region to learn from one another and accelerate practical improvement.
This in-person session will build on the work undertaken through the network to date, with a continued focus on reducing inpatient length of stay, reducing inappropriate out of area placements and improving access to care.
Since our previous session, organisations have been progressing local improvement actions and PDSA tests, alongside projects supported through LIN seed funding. This event provides an opportunity to come back together to share what has been tested, what teams are learning, where approaches are showing promise and what should happen next.
What to expect
This will be a practical and interactive working session rather than a conference. Teams will have time to:
share progress and learning from local improvement work
hear emerging practice from colleagues across the region
work through common barriers and opportunities
consider where successful approaches could be adapted or spread
agree practical next steps and measures for the next improvement cycle
Who should attend
We particularly welcome:
Adult and older adult inpatient clinical, operational and nursing leads and teams
Adult community mental health leads and teams
Ward-based AHPs and psychological professionals
Bed flow and discharge teams
Improvement and transformation colleagues
Lived experience colleagues with relevant inpatient experience
Care collaborative and voluntary sector representatives
Places are limited, so please register as soon as possible.
