Mental Health S117 PHB Workshop

This workshop is for London CCGs and Trusts interested in developing a local PHB offer in mental health, specifically s117. It will show delegates how to use the s117 implementation framework to set up a PHB offer in MH. Delegates will also hear about other areas in the country offering MH PHBs.

Objectives:

• Introduction to the s117 Implementation Framework covering the 6 themes
• Understanding of personalised care & support planning in MH/s117
• Understanding of the PHB governance framework

This workshop is suitable for clinical leads, finance managers and people with lived experience in provider trusts; senior managers in MH, LD and Adult Services in local authorities; and MH commissioners, PHB leads, and finance managers in CCGs.

It is strongly encouraged that 2 or 3 people from the same area attend together, for example, someone from the CCG, local authority and the MH provider trust. Attending together helps create a joint understanding and develops the impetus to work together to develop a local PHB offer in MH/s117.
