Midlands Early Intervention in Psychosis Event

The West Midlands and East Midlands Clinical Networks within the Midlands region of NHS England and NHS Improvement would like to bring together those who both commission and deliver early intervention in psychosis services to an event which will ultimately support the implementation of the NHS Long Term Plan to develop At Risk Mental State pathways for people at risk of developing psychosis.
The event will bring together people and organisations from across the region. It will focus on:
Þ A National update on the Long Term Plan for Early Intervention in Psychosis services
Þ The Current provision of At Risk Mental State (ARMS) services in the Midlands
Þ Defining the ARMS pathway and CAARMS training
Þ The Treatment and interventions for people with At Risk Mental States
Þ Implementing ARMS services: examples of good practice
Þ Question time with an expert panel
The event will include presentations from a range of speakers providing an opportunity to review the latest information and work being undertaken at national, regional and local level. There will also be opportunities for discussions and networking.
Who should attend?
This event is aimed at mental health commissioners, clinicians working in early intervention in psychosis services, service managers, service users, and other groups who are involved in supporting early intervention in psychosis.
