NHS 111/Integrated Urgent Care Patient Engagement Workshop - Midlands
All booking fees included.
Ticket sales have finished for this event.
NHS 111 has been in place since 2013. Since then we have been working hard to develop the service and make sure it is as integrated as possible with the wide range of urgent care services which are available. NHS 111 is free to call and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to respond to the population of England with a personalised contact service. NHS 111 has been designed to use when you:
- Need medical help fast, but it’s not a 999 emergency;
- Don’t know who to call for medical help;
- Are unsure if you or another need to go to A&E or an alternative NHS Urgent Care service;
- Need health information or reassurance about what to do next; or
- Require continuity of care when in hours GP services are closed
This workshop will talk through the current system, plans for the future and is an opportunity for patients to share their experiences and views on IUC/NHS 111.
If you are based in the Midlands area and have a specific interest in urgent care, have any experiences to share of NHS 111 or would just like to come along to participate in the discussion please do register.
Please note there are a limited number of spaces available on a first come first served basis. If you are not based in the Midlands area but would find this interesting, please be aware that we will be running similar workshops across England so please keep an eye out for future details via the In Touch bulletin.
Travel and reasonable expenses (agreed in advance) will be covered/reimbursed. Once you have booked your place, please email email@example.com in advance of the meeting with travel details and a member of the team will book your tickets for you.
If you require any further information please email firstname.lastname@example.org
