NHS EDI Improvement Plan - Using data to inform strategic board changes

High Impact Action 1 National NHS EDI Improvement Plan sets out that Chief executives, chairs and board members must have specific and measurable EDI objectivesto which they will be individually and collectively accountable.

High Impact Action 6 of the National NHS EDI Improvement Plan sets out to creating an environment that eliminates the conditions in which bullying, discrimination, harassment and physical violence at work occur 

During this online learning session (which will be held via MS Teams), you can hear from John Duncan from Humber Teaching Foundation Trust who will share how the trust has been using their existing data from WDES, WRES, Gender Pay Gap Reporting and NHS Staff Survey to set strategic EDI priorities which were practical and achievable within their specific organisational context and local challenges.

This event will also provide attendees with the opportunity to share their successes and challenges in making steps towards achieving the National NHS EDI Improvement Plan High Impact Action 1 and High Impact Action 6.

This event is aimed at HR, OD and EDI colleagues working across the NHS, including those working in the ambulance sector, primary care and social care. The deadline for registrations is Monday 19 May 2025, a Teams link will be circulated with all registered attendees 48 hours prior to the session taking place.
