NHS IMPACT Lunch and Learn: Reducing variable pay spend
Hosted by Prof Amar Shah, National Clinical Director of Improvement, we'll hear from Ailsa Brotherton, Chief Strategy and Improvement Officer and colleagues at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust who will be sharing how Lancashire Teaching Hospitals has taken the learning from Leeds Teaching Hospitals to design, test and embed a daily management system which enables the front line clinical and operational leaders to track variable pay in real time.
This has resulted in a significant reduction in variable pay spend across the organisation without compromising safety, contributing to the Trust's financial improvement plan.
It will be an interactive session, followed by a group discussion and is for anyone working in the NHS who wants to find out more.
