NHS IMPACT Masterclass: Quality management systems
Prof Amar Shah, National Clinical Director for Improvement will be joined and Dominique Bird, Acting National Director for Quality Safety and Improvement Quality, Safety and Improvement at NHS Wales for an engaging online session introducing the NHS Wales Quality Management System (QMS) Framework - an approach designed to help organisations build a sustainable, evidence‑driven operating system for leading and managing quality. Grounded in the Duty of Quality and adaptable across teams, directorates and clinical or non‑clinical settings, the Framework supports organisations to strengthen what already works and embed consistent, system‑wide improvement.
Dom will also share a practical case study demonstrating how the Framework has evolved in real‑world use and outline how it has shaped the national QMS support programme and outline progress to date with in the programme’s six workstreams.
