North West Fest – Virtual Away Week

Bill McCarthy agreed at the Staff Away Day in  January that a similar event would be organised. However, due to Covid-19 it has been decided to hold a week long, virtual away week via Microsoft Teams. 

There will be a programme of virtual events for staff to attend, which will be spread over a week. Most of the sessions will be repeated - however some of the keynote speaker sessions will only happen once, and the Regional Director’s Office will issue these as a diary invite. 

All staff will be expected to attend certain sessions in the week and a diary invite will be shared. The sessions will include Bill's opening, Merseycare's journey to implement a Just and Learning Culture, Adelle Davies keynote as a front-line nurse and John Amaechi's speech on Black Lives Matter.
