North West UEC - Winter 2023/2024 Review Event

As we start to look ahead to winter 2024/25, we would like to invite you to join us for an NHS North West regional event to review and reflect upon the winter just gone and share learning and experiences to help support improvements to the urgent and emergency care pathway for patients across the North West.

The event will focus on both a look back but also a look forward – highlighting areas of good practice and successes that have been seen locally to delivering improvements to patient care and identifying key initiatives for providers and systems to take forward ahead of next winter.

Space will unfortunately be limited, so we are allocating 2 x places per NHS provider trust and for those trusts which are multi-sited, there will be an increased allocation of 2 x places per acute hospital site (i.e. if your organisation has two acute sites, you have an allocation of 4 x places). NW ICBs and NWAS each have an allocation of up to 15 x places.

We are targeting attendance at those with overall accountability for delivering improvements to patient flow in respective organisations/systems across the North West, so would ideally like to see attendance from Chief Operating Officers, Chief Nurses, Medical Directors, Directors of Operations, Heads of Patient Flow, Place Directors – we will leave it at the discretion of organisations to identify the most appropriate representatives to attend.
