The East of England Clinical Network is holding Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) training on 18th February 2020, 2pm-4pm.
The session will provide an overview of the PANSS scoring system for rating psychotic symptoms, practice in using conducting the ratings using video clips, and comparison of the reliability of attendees’ scores with expert raters and discussion of discrepancies to facilitate their future use of the scale. It is a realistic training session where you clinically learn how to score rather than the full PANSS training on semi-structured interview which is for research.
The training is open to East of England staff working in EIP and CMHT services supporting adults and older adults. Please note that these places are to cover the following STPs: Cambridge and P’boro, Norfolk and Waveney, Suffolk and NE Essex, BLMK, Herts and West Essex, Mid and South Essex.
