The West Midlands Network’s 10th Perinatal Mental Health Meeting will take place on Tuesday 1 October 2019.
The event will focus on:
- Concluding the Five Year Forward View
- Transitioning to the NHS Long Term Plan
- Sharing successes and learning from others
- Professional networking - creating peer connections
- Research and innovation
The event will include presentations from highly respected speakers providing an opportunity to explore the latest information and work being undertaken in this area. There will also be opportunities for discussions and networking.
Who should attend?
The PMH Quarterly Meetings are aimed at the workforce supporting PMH patients, including: Midwives, General Nurses, Practice Nurses, Health Visitors, Allied Health Professionals, Social Workers, Adult Mental Health Nurses, Emergency Services staff, Children’s Centre staff, Trainee Obstetricians and Psychiatrists. Specifically, this study day is aimed at professionals within the West Midlands (Birmingham, Black Country, Coventry, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Herefordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire) wishing to further their skills and expertise in Perinatal Mental Health.
This event is fully and solely funded by the West Midlands Maternity Clinical Network, part of NHS England.
