Please note this workshop will take place over 2 days and delegates must commit to attend both days. These workshops are not available for individual attendance – sites must send representation from the local clinical commissioning group (CCG), local authority & mental health provider trust with a minimum of three attending from each site, and a maximum of five.

We are pleased to confirm dates and venue details for a series of two day Section 117 aftercare personal health budget (PHB) workshops in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, London and Newcastle.

The first day is a full day (9.30-16.00) event. The second day consists of a half-day workshop (9.30-13.00) with an option to stay for an afternoon surgery to discuss your local issues in implementing Section117 PHB’s and seek solutions.

This event aims to provide sites developing their Section 117 PHB offer with the most up to date knowledge, tools, expertise and confidence to be able to implement or scale up their PHB provision in this area and to also think about how this can be mainstreamed.

To ensure maximum benefit from this workshop a relevant mix of health & social care leads should attend, who have a shared knowledge of Section117, personal health budgets and personal budgets within social care – this will mean that at least three people need to attend both days with appropriate representation from the local CCG, local authority & mental health service provider. Other key people involved in the delivery of Section 117 PHBs locally may also attend with up to a maximum of five representatives from each site.

Due to the design of this workshop, we will be unable to allocate places to areas who register less than three delegates to attend.  A certificate of attendance will be available on day two for CPD purposes.
