Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams (CRHTTs) sit in a pivotal place in the urgent care pathway. They act as gatekeepers for acute inpatient beds, facilitate early hospital discharge and provide person centred interventions in a home environment. Many people accessing these services have experienced trauma and are dealing with current distress. It is crucial that CRHTTs are set up to offer compassionate evidence-based care and avoid traumatisation.
Using primary and secondary research, including the voice of the lived experience experts, this informative session looks at taking a psychologically informed approach to CRHTTs and outlines a model and toolkit that can help enable this.
A Psychologically Informed Crisis Care Best Practice Guidance report will be made available following this event.
We look forward to seeing you there!
