Primary Care Networks Engagement and Implementation Event

The NHSE/I national team will be holding an event in the East of England Region, to support the implementation of the new GP contract during April.

The purpose of this event is to cascade the details of the new GP contract and to receive feedback from systems regarding the new arrangements. This in turn, will be used to inform the development of the Technical guidance that will accompany the new GP Contract and shape the implementation of the new contract. 

Ed Waller from the national team will be one of the speakers.

Objectives of the day will include:

• To understand and clarify the key delivery priorities for PCNs in 2020/21
• To provide an overview and give an opportunity to clarify the GP contract agreement 2020/21-2023/24
• To understand the needs of PCNs and ensure the development support is focussed on priority areas.

The intended audience for which is primary care leads and relevant staff in STPs and CCGs, ICS and PCNs.
