Aim of the event
Primary care networks support groups of practices to come together locally, in partnership with community services, social care and other providers of health and care services. Where emerging primary care networks are in place, there are clear benefits for patients and clinicians, and these approaches are emerging as the delivery model for primary care of the future.

This event will:

  • provide an update on primary care network development;
  • provide examples of the some of the positive impacts for patients and staff;
  • consider what support may be needed in the journey to PCNs and how this could be delivered at a national, regional and local level.

Each session is aimed at a variety of staff, including those working within primary care (commissioners, GPs and practice staff), pharmacy, ophthalmology, dental and any voluntary sector staff who wish to be involved.
