This important event will focus on how the NHS can introduce measures and systems to protect girls growing up in England from undergoing FGM.
Hear from sites using the FGM Information Sharing system, to better understand safeguarding against FGM and sharing information with colleagues in community settings
Learn about how maternity units introduced the FGM-IS system and what practical steps they went through to do this
Role play and attend practical workshops about asking questions about FGM
Registration starts from 10am at Birmingham Botanical Gardens.

Lunch and refreshments will be included.
The venue is just 1.5miles from Birmingham New Street Station.
FREE parking on on a "first-come-first-served" basis.

- Safeguarding leads/LSCB members
- FGM Trust leads
- GPs, midwives, nurses, health visitors, others
- Local authority leads / Children Social Services FGM Leads
- Community groups & 3rd sector organisations
- Multi-agency partners (police, teachers)
