East of England - Long-Term Conditions Psychological Management Event

Due to the ever-increasing demand on clinicians to manage the psychological needs of patients with long term conditions, the Cardiac, Respiratory and Palliative Care Clinical Networks are pleased to invite you to an informative and interactive workshop event.

Event Highlights:

• Patient Perspective: Hear directly from a patient to ground our discussions.
• Presentations: Gain insights from palliative care experts on tender conversations, talking therapies, and local referral pathways.
• Workshops: Participate in a communication skills workshop and learn from a clinician’s lived experience managing psychological needs.
• Staff Resilience: Explore strategies to enhance resilience and manage the mental load associated with addressing patients’ psychological needs.
• Networking Opportunity: Connect with fellow clinicians during a complimentary lunch.

We aim for this to be a fun and interactive day, providing practical tips to support you in your clinical practice.

Please note: Due to current financial pressures, we are unable to provide lunch for this event and ask that you bring your own lunch and a reusable cup (to reduce waste). Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided throughout the day.
