Referral Optimisation Network webinar: Evaluation of specialist advice (Part 2)

You are invited to join the NHS England Referral Optimisation Network webinar  – on Tuesday 1 July 2025 12:45 – 14:00 for Part 2 of the national evaluation of specialist advice.

This webinar will cover:

• the effects of pre-referral specialist advice on the RTT waiting list; and
• A novel cost-benefit tool for expert insights and informed decisions.

The evaluation was externally commissioned from NECS (North of England Care System Support) and follows on from the webinar held on 13 May Part 1: Stakeholder Experience - the qualitative research findings of the evaluation.

As part of the webinar there will be opportunities to ask questions to help support high quality Advice and Guidance in 2025/26.

Audience: The Referral Optimisation Network brings together clinical, operational and commissioning managers and leads and other relevant NHS staff involved in the improvement and delivery of referral optimisation. This webinar is for NHS colleagues and will be held via MS TEAMs.
