NHS England plans to start reporting on outcomes and improvement for people using community mental health services (CMH) on the NHS Futures Collaboration Platform.

New metrics will focus on the recommended Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) for use in CMH services for adults, and older adults with severe mental illness. The data will be experimental with the aim of supporting NHS England, Integrated Care Boards and providers to better understand the use of PROMs, and the outcomes achieved following interventions.

In preparation, we are holding this webinar to introduce the metrics, answer questions and signpost to supportive information.

The webinar will be of interest to regional colleagues, commissioners, managers and practitioners working in community mental health services, as well as analysts wishing to understand how PROM data will be measured and reported.

The webinar will cover:

  • Why using, measuring, and reporting PROMs is important
  • Metric construction and methodology
  • How will the metrics be reported
  • The benefits of improved outcome data
  • Support materials

Please register to reserve a place. You will receive a link to join the webinar closer to the date.

The webinar will be recorded and available on the adult and older adult mental health programme NHS Futures collaboration platform.
