Access Improvement Programme | Topic based modular programme for Primary Care

These sessions are up to 90 minutes each and focus on specific improvement topics and approaches.  They are designed for those working in practices and primary care networks to help tackle local challenges and make the most of opportunities now and in the future.

Stakeholder Engagement

The session focuses on practical steps to enable participants to identify key stakeholders, prioritise and motivate those who must be involved and consider how to engage all stakeholder groups at the appropriate level.  The session will introduce the concept of framing messages and stakeholder mapping and commitment analysis tools.

This session will be especially suitable for participants working at PCN level, across clinical pathway development and across two or more organisations. It remains relevant to anyone working with others on a quality improvement project.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:

  • utilise a three-stage process for engaging stakeholders
  • identify the relationships that are most important for them to be effective
  • recognise the value of commitment analysis and use a tool to analyse commitment.

This webinar is for PCNs and practices.
