SEND Learning Disability Diagnostic Pathways Event

We are delighted to be holding a SEND Learning Disability Diagnostic Pathways event on the 12th January from 9.30 to 12.00. The event aims to share information and innovative practice to support improvements to Learning Disability Diagnostic Pathways.  

 

We understand that many systems and local areas are experiencing challenges around:

  • Effective integrated Learning Disability diagnostic pathways/approaches
  • Utilising data and intelligence effectively to inform commissioning services
  • Disparity in services provided to those with Learning Disabilities

 

As a result of the ongoing issues that have been raised, we are delighted to invite you to a free online workshop. The aims of the workshop are to:

  • Improve outcomes for Children and Young People (CYP)
  • Reduce variability
  • Share practice
  • Improve the lived experience for CYP with a Learning Disability

 

The workshop is open to:

  • Clinicians/Paediatricians
  • Learning Disability Leads
  • Primary Care Leads
  • CCG CYP Commissioners
  • Local Authority CYP Commissioners
  • Public Health CYP Commissioners
  • SEND Designated Clinical Officer/Designated Medical Officer
  • Early Years Commissioners
