Single Handed Care Event - South East
Single Handed Care Conference
This is a strategic workshop exploring the benefits, implementation and barriers to the Single-Handed Care approach and to give the opportunity to gain hands on experience of equipment available to support the approach. The approach is known to have many benefits to both organisations, service users and staff including improved flow through organisations and systems, with service users being more likely to return home and a reduction in deconditioning. The workshop would be beneficial to system leaders with a responsibility for delivering care and clinical leaders who are interested in adopting this model.
During the day, there is opportunity to gain practical experience of the equipment, so please come dressed for potential participation.
We have approximately 60 free places (excluding travel and accommodation). Please register to book your place (even if you have previously emailed to register your interest). If the event is full, Please email Donna.Harrison16@nhs.net and Darren.Plank@nhs.net to be added to the waiting list.
As places are limited, we kindly suggest you aim to send a maximum of 2 individuals per organisation, and in collaboration with your Integrated Care System. This will ensure fair representation across the region.
Refreshments and lunch will be provided, please specify any dietary requirements in the registration process.
