Single Handed Care Event South West

We're excited to announce that the popular 'Single Handed Care Event' delivered by A1 Risk Solutions and hosted by NHS South West is coming to Bristol on the 20th September 2022.

Venue: BAWA Healthcare and Leisure, 589 Southmead Road, Bristol, BS34 7RG

Starts: 9:30am 

Finish 4:30pm

This is a strategic workshop exploring the benefits, implementation and barriers to the Single-Handed Care approach and to have the opportunity to gain hands on experience of equipment available to support the approach.  The approach is known to have many benefits to both organisations, patients and staff including improved flow through organisations and systems, patients being more likely to return home and a reduction in deconditioning.

During the day, there is opportunity to gain practical experience of the equipment so please come dressed appropriately. 

We have approximately 80 free places ( excluding travel and accommodation). Please register to book your place ( even if you have previously emailed to register your interest).

As places are limited, we kindly suggest you aim to send a maximum of 2 individuals per organisation. This will ensure fair representation across the region.  The event is primarily aimed and those who may be influential in embedding the approach within services. 

Refreshments and lunch will be provided, please specify any dietary requirements in the registration process.
