South East Social Prescribing Network – Evidence and Evaluation Workshop

This is a free workshop for anyone who wants to be involved in shaping the future of Social Prescribing, organised by the South East Regional Social Prescribing Network in collaboration with Wessex Academic Health Science Network (AHSN)

Following successful South East Regional Social Prescribing Network Conferences held last year there has been a growing movement across the region to position social prescribing as a cornerstone for creating good health and wellbeing.

This event will build on this work by bringing together people from health, local government and voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors to continue the conversation, and to explore the evidence about the impact of social prescribing and how to go about evaluating a social prescribing service.

Who should attend?

The event will be of interest to clinical commissioning groups, public health, voluntary and community organisations, local authorities, general practitioners, academics, community groups, community organisers and other key stakeholders, and anyone with a particular interest in evaluation.

Why should you attend?

The workshop will be participative, and will focus on evidence and evaluation methods in social prescribing.

There will be opportunities to participate in interactive sessions at this event to share experience and learn with others.
