South West End of Life Network - Exploring What Matters, Learning in Action

Building on engaging and interactive on line events in 2022, the South West End of Life Network invites you to the first face to face event to progress conversation, network, learn from action and build future solutions.

Join us at Taunton Race Course 10:00 - 16:00 on Thursday 23rd March 2023. 

Programme information to be confirmed and will be sent to delegates following booking and well ahead of the day.
The venue is fully accessible with free parking.
Lunch will be provided, please email england.sweol@nhs.net with any dietary requirements /allergies.

Travelling by Road

Taunton Racecourse is on the B3170 road from Taunton to Corfe & Honiton, approx 2 miles south of Taunton Town Centre. Leave the M5 at Junction 25, and travel towards Taunton, following the signs for Racecourse.

If you are travelling on the A303 from the West e.g. Honiton/Exeter direction turn left onto B3170 which will bring you directly to the racecourse.

If you are travelling on the A303 from the East e.g. Chard/Ilminster direction then turn right at the Eagle Cross Tavern and continue until you reach the crossroads. Turn right and follow the B3170 to the racecourse.

The Racecourse is about 2 miles from the centre of Taunton and there is a very limited public bus service, details of which can be found by following this link 

(Please be aware this public bus will drop off at the junction to Staple Fitzpaine approximately 150yds from the racecourse and there is no footpath or street lighting along that stretch of road)
