SW Keyworking Community of Practice

16 April 2021 10:00am – 1:00pmBST (+01:00)
Virtual (Microsoft Teams)

You are invited to join the inaugural South West Keyworking Community of Practice event.

It is my pleasure to announce that Dame Christine Lenehan will open the Community of Practice by sharing her journey from ‘These Are Our Children’ (CDC, 2017) to Keyworking in the ‘Long Term Plan’ as well as her aspirations for the future.

This is a great opportunity to explore the journey the South West pilot sites have had in establishing this new of working and apply learning to your own keyworking development journeys. There will be opportunity to ask questions, test thoughts and share resources. The aim is that the different regions in the South West develop and refine together and learn from each others challenges and successes.

This event is designed for all Commissioning and Provider leads for Children and Young People Keyworking, team members and practitioners from the pilot sites, SW Senior Responsible Officers for Keyworking, Parent Carer Forums, Social Workers and Educationalists (the list is not exhaustive). If you are involved in or plan to be involved in keyworker development in your area, then this community of practice is the event for you.

I look forward to seeing you on the 16th April.
