Indicative Session Content
This training is being offered to support and enhance hands-on multi-agency practice in understanding:
- ‘Competence’ for children & young people under the age of 16 years
- Mental Capacity Principles for young adults 16+
- Deprivation of Liberty: Key concepts, including authorisation and the Liberty Protection Safeguards
- Detention under the Mental Health Act (1983)
- Human Rights Principles
