Identifying Opportunities across the System, Building, Learning, Investing

This is a free conference for anyone wants to be involved in shaping the future of social prescribing across the Midlands. This event will build on the Midlands first regional event in April 2017 by bringing together people from health, local government and voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors to continue the conversation, explore the benefits of social prescribing and plan how to spread social prescribing across the region.

Who should attend?

The event will be of interest to clinical commissioning groups, public health, voluntary organisations, local authorities, general practitioners, academics, community groups and community organisers.

Why should you attend?

This event will focus on four key themes (via presentations, sharing good practice, participative workshops and displays):

  1. Commissioning for social prescribing
  2. Supporting programmes that are just starting
  3. Working with the wider system (STP, ACO’s, other local networks)
  4. Opportunities for integration – learning from ‘mature’ social prescribing’ programmes

If you register for this event and are unable to attend please email england.pcevents@nhs.net as soon as possible so that the place can be released for someone else.
