UCR Learning Collaborative

Implementing the two-hour crisis response at scale across systems

As outlined in the NHS Operational Planning and Contracting Guidance 2021/22, by April 2022 all systems will be required to deliver the two-hour crisis response standard:

  • Providing services at scale, reaching full geographic coverage across systems
  • Operating from 8am-8pm, 7 days a week at a minimum
  • Accepting referrals into crisis response services from all appropriate sources (*excluding a hospital ward or bed) and making crisis response services accessible via NHS 111 and 999.

The webinar will:

  • Share practical insights on how to work within ICSs to deliver services at scale, drawing on the experience of Mid and South Essex Health and Care Partnership
  • Support systems, commissioners and providers to consider ways to plan and shape community services to meet the two-hour crisis response standard
  • Share learning and best practice from sites and provide an opportunity to ask questions of an expert panel which are from the accelerator programme.

The webinar is specifically designed for community crisis response service providers, commissioners and system planners in ICSs, however, please share this invite with other colleagues who you think would be interested in this topic.

The expert panel will include current accelerator providers and system leaders. You can pre submit your questions: follow this link to submit a question
