The "16 Days of Activism" is an international campaign on ending violence against women and girls and runs from 25th November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) to 10th December (Human Rights Day). This years' theme is “Orange the World: Generation Equality Stands against Rape!”.

As a part of the 16 Days of Activism, NHS England and NHS Improvement, in conjunction with STP Safeguarding Leaders, are hosting two Violence against Women and Girls Safeguarding Workshops on 10th December 2019.

We encourage those in strategic roles such as Directors to join us for this event, as well as those in operational roles such as frontline staff. We aim to make this session as diverse as possible to generate robust discussion and innovative thinking to improve outcomes for women and girls across the capital.
