Booking onto a session

If having selected a session you are prevented from selecting your organisation, 2 of your colleagues are likely to have already booked onto the course and this session is now full to your organisation. Please therefore select another session and try again.

If you find the session is displaying the message ‘FULLY BOOKED’, then this session is booked to capacity. Therefore please select another session.

You will find guidance on how to book a session here.

Joining instructions

A MS Teams invite will be sent a week before the event with the final joining instructions and pre reading. We will require prompt confirmation of attendance upon receipt of the invitation for numbers to be confirmed to the trainers.

This training has been designed to replace the previous strategic leadership course and should be supported by localised on call training from your specific organisation. There are a limited number of spaces on each course, and a restriction of two delegates per organisation to ensure fairness and to achieve an understanding of what all organisation types do in an incident. Bookings close online a week before each event.

Successful completion of the course

To complete the course successfully and receive a certificate of completion, you will be asked to complete a skills assessment and feedback form at the end of your session

This feedback is analysed nationally, regionally prior to the issuing of your certificate of attendance and slides from the presentation which will be delivered electronically at the same time. The qualification validity is three years. Feedback data is shared with your local EPRR team to assist them in identifying training needs and requirements.

Please share your booking with your EPRR Lead for their training records. If you don't know who it is, please find out before you book onto this course as more localised training specific to your organisation is essential to complete your learning.

NHS England reserves the right to cancel courses at short notice in unavoidable circumstances or if there are not enough attendees to make the course viable on the day. Where this happens we will endeavour to rebook you on a suitable alternative course as soon as possible.

If you have any questions, please contact the EPRR Team at england.midlands-eprr@nhs.net

Best wishes,

NHS England Midlands EPRR Team
