Primary Care Digital Transformation events

Overview of event

The NHS England Patient Online team is running a series of regional events on primary care digital transformation to offer help and support to those in the front line and discuss what role digital will play in the future.

The day is split into morning and afternoon sessions.  Delegates can attend the full day or just the morning or afternoon.

MORNING 10-1.30pm | Making the most of GP Online Services – practical support for GP practices

GP practice staff are invited to attend morning regional conferences in April and May at venues across England.

Each event provides useful information which can be adopted by practices, along with support in offering GP Online Services to patients. Practices will have a clear idea of the benefits that they can achieve with a comprehensive implementation of online services.

Advice will be available about how practices can make the most of appointments, nurse clinics, test results, patient-centred care, and how to involve your PPG.  System providers are available for drop-in sessions along with other NHS digital programmes.

AFTERNOON 12.30-5 pm |The future of Digital Primary Care, and delivering in 2018-19

CCG Chief Information Officers, Chief Clinical Information Officers and primary care commissioners are invited to attend afternoon regional conferences in April and May on the delivery of GP online services.

The agenda focusses on GPFV, CCG procurement responsibilities, and GPSoC developments. Keynotes from Regional Directors of Primary Care Commissioning will cover the vision for general practice and the importance of taking advantage of digital opportunities in improving clinical outcomes and GP practice efficiency.
