Regional EU Exit Workshops - February 2019

NHS organisations are currently reviewing and acting on the EU Exit Operational Guidance published by DHSC on 21 December.

In order to update on preparations being taken to support the NHS through this transition, and to ensure the NHS is ready, we are setting up a series of regional EU Exit workshops in February.

The workshops will be hosted by regional EU Exit leads and the national EU Exit team including Keith Willett, EU Exit Strategic Commander, and Leaf Mobbs, Director EU Exit Transition. They will be supported by leads from some of the specialist EU Exit workstreams.

What we will cover

The workshops will give updates on the EU Exit workstreams, create an opportunity to discuss further details of the operational response and what is needed at a local level and provide the opportunity to raise questions and give feedback on preparations.

Required attendance

We are looking for one senior (Board/ Director level) person per NHS organisation within your region who has a major involvement in EU Exit preparations and can determine what their organisation or system must commit to before 29 March. It is important that each NHS organisation within the region sends one representative to the event.

Attendees should include:

  • Trust CEOs and/or EU Exit SROs
  • STP and ICS leads
  • CCG Accountable Officers and primary care leads
