Webinar series: Building inclusive primary care networks in partnership with people and communities

Who are the webinars for?

These webinars are for colleagues working in primary care and are aimed at developing inclusive approaches to working in partnership with people and communities.  Other colleagues working across the public and voluntary sectors may find these sessions beneficial and are welcome to attend.

Purpose of the webinars

The series of webinars will help to:

  • Understand how to build partnerships with people and communities.

  • Reach out and connect with local communities.

  • Reduce health inequalities and improve outcomes for inclusion health groups.

COVID-19 has had a disproportionate impact on specific groups and highlighted that we need to work with people and communities to address health inequalities.

Engagement and addressing health inequalities is particularly important at PCN level. There is a real opportunity to improve local health outcomes through partnership working and by building on the assets of communities.

Format of the webinars

The webinars include a mixture of practical sessions that will help you to build a toolkit of tools, resources and approaches that can be used to engage people and communities and some sessions are focused on sharing learning and good practice to inspire colleagues to use similar approaches.
