Webinar series: super skills for advanced engagement practitioners

Who are the webinars for

Our Super Skills sessions are aimed at experienced engagement practitioners wanting to explore good practice in more depth and will:

  • Supplement our wider learning and development offer for those operating at more skilled level
  • Support the Engagement Practitioners Network by providing development opportunities for members.

Purpose of the webinars

We work with colleagues across the organisation, health and care, and the voluntary sector, to spread participation best practice and ensure that we fulfil our legal duties to involve patients and the public. The series of webinars will help you to:

  • Understand how to build partnerships with people and communities.
  • Reach out and connect with local communities.
  • Reduce health inequalities and improve outcomes for inclusion health groups.

COVID-19 has had a disproportionate impact on specific groups and highlighted that we need to work with people and communities to address health inequalities.

Format of the webinars

The webinars include a mixture of practical sessions that will help you to build a toolkit of tools, resources and approaches that can be used to engage people and communities and some sessions are focused on sharing learning and good practice to inspire colleagues to use similar approaches.
