The Educator Workforce Programme are celebrating our educators. This webinar will focus on EDI, sharing best practice and innovation breaking down the barriers to learning as well improving and creating an inclusive workforce.

NETS - a driver for cultural change 15mins

The NETS ( National Education and Training Survey) results for diagnostic radiography students, highlighted poor behaviours related to ethnic minorities and has driven a cultural change.  We will share what actions were taken in response to this feedback, to improve awareness, encourage open and transparent discussion and value the workforce supporting our learners, as well as actions to improve the learner experience.

Building Belonging in Practice Education   15mins

Highlights how Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has supported Internationally Recruited Colleagues from onboarding through to professional and career development. The presentation explores how recognising the strengths of these skilled clinicians helped us work together to meet UK practice requirements, including OSCE preparation.

We also share how expanding our offer to include clear career pathways and leadership development—alongside clinical skills—has strengthened support and enabled many colleagues to progress.

Inclusive Training within Practice: Enabling Culture and Behaviour Change for Inclusive Learning Environments  15mins

The ITP project addressed systemic racism and discrimination in healthcare education, launching a suite of training and learning resources aimed at improving the experiences and outcomes of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic learners, and staff working in healthcare.

Learning resources are available for a wide range of audiences across healthcare, including the whole workforce and practice education teams, and academic education institutions
