Action on outpatients: equity of access event series 18 April 2023 – 17 May 2023

Join the Outpatient Recovery and Transformation programme in a series of discussions focused on how to improve equity of access to outpatient services.

As we all work hard to recover services, this must be done inclusively. When designing services systems and providers should take appropriate steps to ensure they are not exacerbating health inequalities and are providing equity of access to outpatient services.

Rarely can one successful action or intervention be simply lifted and shifted to another place and what works well in one locality may not work in another. There are, however, common ingredients for success.

Through three interactive webinars and one face-to-face event, we will explore three key principles ‘People, Process and Perspectives’, where we will provide practical examples and share best practice on how to better design outpatient services that meet the needs of our diverse communities.

Speakers will include clinicians, providers, patients, public health and representatives from the health inequalities programme.

If you work in outpatient services or transformation, join us and be part of this important conversation. Simply book onto each of these sessions through the registration links below. The sessions are connected, however, you don’t have to go to all three - you can sign up to as few or as many as you’d like!
